Modernising Architecture For AI And More
GOTO Copenhagen 2026Changing system architecture can be difficult, especially when it can be difficult to make the case internally that it will be beneficial. However, with the drive to develop Generative AI powered functionality for our users has put the current system architecture into stark relief. And no, the answer isn’t just to stick an MCP server on your existing application.
In this class, we’ll explore how the nature of GenAI and wider AI space is placing more pressure on our existing system architecture patterns. We’ll look at techniques to integrate existing systems with new agentic AI workflow, and explore how to do all of this whilst dealing with the inherent volatility in this space.
This is not a coding matserclass, but it is interactive. This is a class about concrete practice, but presented in a technology agnostic way.
What We Will Cover:
Each class is different, with the attendees shaping what content we will cover in each class, but expect to cover:
- Patterns to transform your existing architecture to enable AI-powered functionality
- How to deliver incremental change to production rather than big-bang releases
- Managing volatility around pricing and models from AI vendors
- Understand the key security challenges of agentic AI workflows, and how to reduce the related risks from an architectural point of view
