Ity Kaul is the Technical lead of Build Infrastructure team at Twitter. She has more than10 years of extensive experience in Search, Machine Learning and Platform Infrastructure. While at Twitter, she has worked as an engineer and lead teams of 18+ engineers across Discover, Trends and Platform Engineering working on key infrastructure and data analysis components. Previously, she worked as a Software Engineer at a small startup Julpan, that developed a real-time search engine, where she was the first employee in a team of 12. Before that, she worked as an engineering lead in organizations of size 200-2000 mainly in finance, with varying team sizes. She holds a Bachelors in Software Engineering with focus on Machine Learning from UNSW, Australia.
