Erik Doernenburg

Erik is CTO at the DigitalService of the German Government, where he's responsible for the engineering and platform teams as well as the company's technology strategy.

Previously, he worked at Thoughtworks, most recently as CTO Europe, delivering highly complex customer projects using a wide range of modern technologies.

On his long journey in the tech industry Erik encountered and embraced many new technologies, finding ways to realise their potential while bringing along proven engineering practices.
