Geographic data and Machine Learning in Google's BigQuery
A review of some of the latest developments in Google's serverless enterprise data warehouse, BigQuery. Using demo data from the Helsinki bike sharing scheme, we will show how it is easy to query geographic data and plot it on maps right from the SQL database. We will also show how pulling machine learning into the SQL database gives you super fast prototyping, without the need to spin up separate ML instances.
